Over the period the daily average was €186.81 per MWh (about US$209.09). Switzerland’s electricity came mainly from hydro (52%), nuclear (30%), solar (12%), other fossil (2%) in 2025; how much gas sets the marginal price is a large part of why prices differ across Europe.
