Over the period the daily average was €195.13 per MWh (about US$218.40). Hungary’s electricity came mainly from nuclear (40%), solar (27%), gas (20%), bioenergy (6%) in 2025; how much gas sets the marginal price is a large part of why prices differ across Europe.
